Puppy love

I really struggled choosing a picture for todays blip. I've been a bit snap happy with the camera today and only since Graham went to work at 3, so most of the pictures have been badly taken at dodgy angles. I spent ages trying to get a photo of Henry asleep on me after a feed but I just couldn't get the angle right without cutting half of Henry's head off, or showing boob, which naturally I didn't really want to do. I didn't realise how hard it is to get back into a nursing bra with a sleepy baby on me!

This I just had to get a picture of. No one believes me that if I leave Lulu alone when I've got Henry on the floor then she just lays down. Whenever anyone else is around they get all anxious and worried that Lu is going to stand on him (as if she can't see him!) and say "no" too much, which I don't want.. Lu was the baby first!
I'd set up the changing mat, got everything ready and then put Henry on his mat, and as I sat down to start changing him Lu just came and laid next to us. As I got up to get the camera I just hoped that she wouldn't follow me, but she stayed firm guarding her little brother. I'm so proud of how well she's doing with him. Sometimes she just *has* to give him kisses but she knows to be gentle and she's adorable when he cries she just tilts her head and looks at me like wtf?!

I've enjoyed today, everyone has left me alone pretty much.. and the midwife who was due to come on Friday came today, so she had a quick look at the small hole in my scar and declared it fine. But today has been a day of lots of cuddles and love, perfect!
