The Professor's family makes their own rootbeer (why is spell check telling me that is spelled incorrectly... is rootbeer not a real word??) and for YEARS he has been bugging me about buying the stuff to do it ourselves.

You don't need a whole lot, but in a little apartment I thought it would just be too much of a pain to store. Now that we're in a house however, I had no more excuses.

Cases of beer were consumed (so we could save the bottles), a special bucket was purchased, rootbeer extract was found, and today we put it all together. It will take about a week for the yeast to do its thing and then... BAM.

We will be the envy of all our friends. For sure.
