Pancake Art

Today is Memorial Day! We made roll up pancakes this morning for breakfast. This one ran together and the kids decided it looked a lot like an old woman and insisted we take a picture of it.

After breakfast we all headed to Famous Footwear to look for some tennis shoes/sandals. Grant found a pair of tennis shoes there. We then went to Payless Shoe Source where Josie and Emily each found two pairs of sandals/flip flops, Gracie found a pair of tennis shoes and the boys each found a pair of sandals. We took good advantage of their buy one get the next for 1/2 off sale.

After coming home for lunch, the big girls and Jack and I returned to shopping--went to Kohls to find a pair of jeans for Emily to wear in Mexico next week. We then headed to the Thrift Store and found lots of shorts for Grant and Emily found a few items to add to her wardrobe.

Did an early dinner and then headed off for our first practice with Quail Lakes Team. The water was super warm. Grant and Josie had a ball but were very tired. Me thinks they are a bit out of shape. Gracie got in and swam for awhile too since they didn't have SSC practice today.

Home for baths/showers and bed.
