Rock Rose

Didn't get a chance to capture any images until after work today and a combination of soft rain and poor light proved quite challenging. Pre Blip my camera would have stayed in the bag but I joined Blipfoto in order to capture more images so I went out to see what I could find. I thought I'd be lucky to get one decent image but the results were better than I expected, I hope you like my choice. For me this is what Blipfoto is all about.

The Cistus (Rock Rose) thrives in hot sunny conditions, their flowers have the look of tissue paper and I was convinced the rain would have destroyed the blooms, apparently they are tougher than they look.
