Pumped
Headed out in some light rain this lunchtime with Silverback , not intending to go very far. And that's how it turned out, but we did spend more time out than planned.
As we passed the Edinburgh Fire Brigade Museum we noticed it was open anf free to enter. So in we went.
What a great place, with a very enthusiastic retired fireman showing you around. Well worth a visit if you get the chance. I particularly liked the private pole that the fire chief had to slide down form his home above the engine room. It is fully enclosed on it's own tiled tube no more than 4 feet across with a fine lacquered door that opens out onto the engine room itself. Brilliant!
Like SB I have my own bell shot but as he beat me to it I give you Ajax.
