Approaching the summit

From left to right, Wallis, Brome and Ruby stride out the last few yards before reaching the top of Snowdon.

We've done this walk several times, each one memorable for a different challenge.

The second time I did it with Brome, I think I suffered a little vertigo. On another occasion we got three quarters of the way up and it suddenly started raining horizontally. Last year Brome tripped on the way down and hurt his ankle. This year, I think Ruby could have collected the world record for grumbling.

Memories are made of this.
