Spectacles? Don`t get me started...

Oh, too late -- I`m about to rant!

The price of spectacles... Why are rimless frames more expensive than `ordinary` frames? I bought a pair of rimless frames. They consisted of two arms and a tiny piece that rests on your hooter. That`s it. £270-00! Wha!?

About a hundred quid more expensive than `proper` frames. Add another ton and a half for the lenses and yer seriously out of pocket, pal.

Don`t get me wrong: they looked fab. That is until my missus sat on `em in Italy! Then they didn`t look so good. Chucked `em in a bin on the way to the airport and then had to stumble my way back to Blighty.

So I`ve recently bought these little beauties. A bargain in Specsavers -- with extra discount because I`m now so bloody old!

Designed by young Jasper Conran; although I do wonder if the young man actually designed them or simply put his name on them and then raked in a handsome pay-off.

Now, let me see... Where DID I put my glasses...?
