Pretty!

I love my cacti - this one in particular, which took me by surprise last year by flowering....which it has duly done again this year! I love the intricate detail in each of the petals, and I really love how God could think of something so amazingly beautiful - the delicate flowers juxtaposed with the 'harshness' of the spines of the cactus. There is so much for us to be thankful for in our world; so much beauty - if only we went looking for it!
