Remember and Never Forget

On national holidays like Memorial day today, some cities put flags up and down the main streets.

Unlike most Americans who had the day off, I had to work, but I have tomorrow off so that's ok :)

This day means more to me than ever before. With loosing a friend two weeks ago in Afghanistan and having a husband who has sacrificed a lot in the military, this day is important to take time to remember and be thankful.
