attempting designs

I love graphic design (I'm not great at it, but I could be a lot worse, and in any case, I really enjoy it) although it frustrates me to no end when I hit one of those dry spells. I'm currently in one. I'm trying to work on a small logo for a newsletter header for next year's course union newsletters and I wanted something simple, but ended up with too simple. I walked away from it for about four hours and when I came back, I closed everything up. No purpose in stressing over it tonight because I have a couple months before I need it. So no saving the files from today because tomorrow I will start completely fresh.
