Kennilworth Road

Driving home and its 11.40pm and I realise I havent Blipped and won't get home until after midnight so here it is ... the Kennilworth Road and drive into Coventry. In daylight its a stunning Roman road ... such a brilliant view when you turn on to it.

Today's been brilliant .... couldnt have asked for a better end to a fantastic weekend. Got up early to unpack. Went to the Armanac in Kennilworth to meet Liz for coffee and free toast (genius) then drive to Banbury (or just south to Dennington) to meet Jules who took me to Jaime Oliver's restaurant in Oxford (sooooooooo nice) then on to the Oxford castle's roof garden to drink champagne and a spin around the village in his vintage sports car!

Great chat, great company and other than the parking ticket at the end (so ended up being a very expensive day for Jules who wouldnt let me contribute at all) it was a very smiley day!

I left my phone in my car so my parents were wondering where I was ... eventually get to Reading. Pick Mac up (who's very happy to see me) and get back to Cov just after midnight.
