Feeding Time

Having walked into town for a coffee we decided to return along the canalside. We stopped to look at a pair of swans and their brood on the bank opposite when this gull swooped down, hovered and then dropped to feed on some bread that presumably previous passers by had thrown to the swans.

The gull circled around and came in again which gave me time to get my camera out and switch to sports mode to try and capture the action.
