september's theme: close to you, explained.

I joined a choir for the first time in almost ten years this week. I sang in pretty much all of the choirs when I was in high school (symphonic, jazz, chamber, quartet), and then pretty much lost the easy opportunity for singing regularly when I graduated and didn't seek it out until now.

Anyway, I am out of practice. If I were in practice I would remember that you take a pencil to choir rehearsal to make notes on the score. And had I remembered, I wouldn't have needed to borrow a pencil to make notes on this (lovely) Schubert mass. And had I not needed to borrow a pencil, I wouldn't have borrowed this pencil from someone who must be really smart...

Also the sight reading would have been easier. :)
