BBQ day

Today mum & dad had a bbq at their house, so the day consisted of getting up and organised. Daddy went to work for 1, then Nanna Kaz came and got us both.
We nipped in to the baby store to see if the changing bag that was meant to have arrived with the pram was there and it was, we also brought some other bits and ordered a raincover that I'm sure was meant to come with the pram too but apparantly not.
Its lovely seeing the girls who work in the shop and chatting with them and them getting to meet Henry. I first went in there at 20 weeks pregnant to have a nosey at prams and when I was in hospital they'd rang to say that the pram had arrived and mum told them what was happening and she had to keep them updated, its such a lovely shop!

So then we eventually got to Nanna & Pops' house and bbq-ness ensued once I'd fed & changed Henry.

It was lovely and relaxed and the sun even came out, although Henry was blissfully unaware and quite happy in his moses basket. Then afterwards I managed to go for a shower (we only have a bath at our house) and had 20 minutes sleep.

Whilst I was asleep Pop's took this picture of Uncle Dale (my brother) & Henry. Dale is still getting used to holding such a tiny baby, I don't think he'd ever really held a baby before Henry. And when he first met him on SCBU Henry was already nearly 3 weeks old as up until that point the visiting was restricted to parents, grandparents & siblings of the babies. But he's getting more comfortable and has put himself in charge of making sure Henry gets to read classic childrens books such as Burglar Bill & The Tiger who came to tea!
