Spring Watch

Sorry, it's a follow on from yesterdays Blip, and more of the little chicks!

Last night was the first night I spent apart from Hugo since he was born nearly 13 months ago. I should have had a super long lie in, but old habits die hard and I was awake early. Listening to the chirping going on in the tree outside my bedroom window.

I had my own little episode of Springwatch going on, and found them absolutely fascinating. The parents are relentless in the search for grubs for their offspring, returning every few minutes.

I took lots of shots, but particularly liked this one as the second chick, who isn't being fed that second was very vocal!
