Taste of Edinburgh

I was begining to worry when I looked at the weather forecast for today on J's iPhone. We were going to the Taste of Edinburgh festival today.

We headed out early to window shop for a bit. We then decided to go for a coffee as J heard about Harvey Nic's cake conveyor belt cafe. I thought the prices of the cakes were going to be like double Starbucks or something, but they weren't too bad... just a little bit more, the chocolate tart we had was amazing so it was worth it in the end.

When then met up a few of our friends at Taste of Edinburgh. The weathe held off for us and it ended up being very sunny after the shower when we in HN cafe. It was good, we had quite a few bits of free grub. I thought the event would be bigger, but we did enjoy ourselves! I was surprised when one of the demonstrators suggested barbequing a chicken with an empty Magners tin filled with various herbs! Inetesting... apple herby chicken flavour?
