First of the Year

Spent the day gardening today, the wind was a bit keen but not a bad day overall. We get a lot of frogs in the garden, as far as I know there isn't a significant pond or water course nearby so I'm not sure where they come from. This is the first of this years brood it was under some pots I was tidying. Another 1st today was a pink cistus, it was a bud yesterday, in full bloom by mid morning and gone by 6pm, our one bush will reproduce this sequence of events thousands of time this summer, so it's bound to be blipped at some point soon.
