In the shadows of kings

Not many shadows being cast today. Today,s Blip shows the view from my sunlounger on the Riverside part of the Kilim Hotel.

Opposite, carved in the sheer rock face are the unfinished tombs of a Lycian Kingdom. On our first trip here many years ago, we scrambled up a very steep path to reach one of these. The view from the top was breathtaking.

Today beautiful blue skies, a gentle breeze and a day of doing not much but watching the world go by.

Have started reading 'The Millenium Trilogy' by Steig Larson.

Daughter Wendy had her 'Hen-Do' last night and she sent a text to us to say how much fun they all had w?th her step-sister, sister and friends.
Not long until her wedding!

Oh how l love this place!

Bill and l are off for a cycle into the village for a preprandial and a game of Connect 4 and a beer!
