Overcast

There is sometimes a moment before the earth surrenders to rain, when the light changes dramatically and time seems to stand still. This was that moment in our garden this afternoon.

The tall red oriental poppies will be open tomorrow if the rain doesn't flatten them first. The wigloo - our willow igloo - is looking a bit like Malcolm Gladwell.
