Decoration

I was lucky enough to be part of a lovely wedding today. I was accompanying my friend, Soraya, whose friends' wedding it was.

It was a beautiful ceremony, followed by dinner on a steam train! .... think "Orient Express, but in the Highlands" :D

The theme for the decorations was "black and white" .... the bride's mum had spent many an hour making black tablecloths and b+w bunting. The overall effect was very ArtDeco.

This picture is of my place setting on the train. Isn't it lovely? (I shall let them off with spelling my name wrong, I had such a fabulous time ;-) )

After the meal (and a 20 mile round trip) on the train we piled into the hotel and partied the night away.
I must say I am very impressed with the Scottish dancing .... most of the guests were English.

I must apologise to Soraya for the massive bruise on her arm .... I was a bit entheusiastic during the "Orcadian Strip the Willow".
