Cucumber Sandwich anyone?

Seeing as I'm leaving Jeddah on Tuesday, the girls took me for afternoon tea at the Qasr Al Sharq Hotel after work today. It's part of the Waldorf Astoria Collection of Hotels. It was pure decadence and truly scrumdidleyumptious. I'm not sure why, but we had complete privacy in the lounge, as the dining manager refused entry to others because of our all-female party. That's the treatment one receives in a seven-star hotel! Either that, or he didn't want his other guests to have their visit marred by us lot pretending to be Arabic Princesses for the afternoon! Hmmmm.
