Taking Five...

We went as planned to Wolferton again looking for deer at 5am again.

We had lots of fun again, no mist today mind you...

We saw loads of deers including a white one and her foe, she was so beautiful, we saw about 6 different deers all in all, but not close enough to take a good image of them. They are so healthy looking and so alert.

We decided to go for a walk deeper into the woods, where we came across some open meadow land where there were lots of hoof prints and a little stream, where they must go to get their drink. We stayed for a while to see if we could see any of them, we could hear them calling, but did not actually see them.

We now know where they are and you can hide in the bracken so hopefully we will be able to go back there really soon and have another attempt at taking photos of them.

When we decided to go home I noticed this dragonfly sitting on some bracken, at least he stayed still long enough for me to photo him.
