Flight

A red admiral butterfly enjoying nectar. I am enjoying that it's Friday after work and a fantastic weekend lies ahead.

I left work a little early and we are leaving in a few minutes for an overnight at a friend's cottage and birding tomorrow in a very special grassland north of the city.

The wine is cooled, the bags are packed and the congested highway awaits!
