getting ready

for my NEW floor!

the big day(s) are Sunday & Monday. I can't wait! it means we have to pack up a LOT of stuff. you know, "stuff" - all that junk - paper, articles, books - all that important stuff that gathers in our lives and ends up in piles - on the floor, on the shelves, in the way.

some of the books are tagged for the book sale, though probably not enough. I really don't re-read books often but I have trouble parting with my favorites. (could claim it was because I don't remember owning many books growing up. we made weekly trips to the library and were encouraged to read from a very young age, but owning them was not important. where would we have kept books for 14 kids. anyway?)

the paper that gathers is another story. just too much! it is relentless and overwhelming! guess I need a few "flylady" days and purge it steadily..

so all this clutter and confusion for a few days may actually pave the way to a simpler, much cleaner, less-cluttered home. what a blessing that would be!
