Morning perfection
Last night, chopping bok choy and thinking about you know who, I sliced through my thumb and thumbnail and had to go to the emergency room to get my pieces put back together again. I felt like a perfect numskull. Then this morning it quit raining for the first time in about ten days, and I got out for an early walk with the camera. I came across a bed of calla lilles, wet from the week's rain and the morning's dew. Perfection. Sometimes the world gets it right and I don't mess anything up. Sometimes I am just here, awake, and full of gratitude.
