baby bird

A sad start to this journal, but this little bird was so perfect I wanted to record it's existence. It just fell to the ground, I assume from a nest - a couple of gasps for air and it was gone : - (

At the moment all of the pictures I take are made using a mobile phone. At some point I want to get a digital camera and would like to improve my skills.

I don't imagine for one minute that I will be able to truly compete with many here - the standard is very high, but I very much like the idea of having to choose just one picture to post and will try to do so most days.
