biked down to venice today for some amazing fresh (fall feeling) air. and blip opportunities of course!

Had a terrible time with exposure and focus pointing my little pocket-cam straight into the sun trying to capture the waves crashing at a fast shutter speed. Got one shot that actually came out. far too much contrast. the blown out highlights lack of rock details bother me, bit still really like this one.

More light and shadow.

EDIT: wow, this really does not have the same effect this small. I liked the full size version, but this just seems kinda blah. generally I'm all about the square but could not work it this time. well darn, I guess I'll keep it.
