(but probably a bored angler, which suggests that he was lying, unless he was talking about the view, in which case it is quite good. There are brown trout, rainbow trout and even grayling in the water nowadays, the water is clean despite the detritus of polystyrene packaging, vodka bottles and footballs that gather on the upstream side of every obstruction. This has been in my blipbank for yonks, but today was the day, nothing more interesting presented itself to my tired eyes, having got up at 4 am to try to find a dream blip of mine...sorry quite a long and unnecessary parenthesis, this!)
