Golden Gate!

Now I really have been a long way west, and I have seen a new Ocean to boot!

A bit of a photo fest with Dave this evening, he is a very keen photographer with a high end Nikon at home and a very impressive Canon S70 in his pocket! So the 4 GB memory card got a pounding, on the way back through the wind farms, taking piccies of SF in the distance and then when we toured the city at dusk (thanks Dave for being guide, much appreciated).

Moments after this shot the mist closed in and the bridge was gone! After all the tourist attractions, dinner at the docks (yep the docks) at Scoma's, one of Dave's favourites. I really can see why, the seasfood was great.

Finally, at the bar the night before the tender said, 'Hey, your not from around here....are you from the East coast?' Finding this quite funny, because I did grow up near the East coast....just not the one he was referring to!
