Sore Feet and Shattered!

Its really good to be working but I'm absolutely shattered. Its a 80 mile round trip and its not an easy school, quite challenging. They have also had supply teachers since October so they are quite demoralised. I have my work cut out everyday. But today I turned a Year 11 class around and got them working with me! It felt really good and they went away feeling far more positive than they have for a while, that was good to see especially as they are so so close to their exams. Every single one managed to complete work on past papers and take more home as well in their folders. Their ability is fairly low to average and therefore to be demoralised it is a difficult situation I just hope that today I have given them a little belief in themselves to stick with it and revise revise revise!

I would love to be at the school till the end of the term in July... I won't find out till either tomorrow or sometime next week.

So coupled with the drive I got home this evening shattered, changed into my shorts and stuck some nice, warm, thick and comfy sports socks on and chilled in front of the goggle box!
