Reaching for the sun.
An unusual blip for me. I bought Clare (my wife) a new camera yesterday, a Panasonic Lumix GF1, so we just had to try it out today. The instruction book is as thick as a small novel so it will take both of us some time to work through all the features. I am already very impressed with the quality from such a small camera and Clare particularly liked this photograph because it illustrates the power of the life-force in plants. This is a Colt's Foot plant that has forced its way through 2 inches of tarmacadam in order to flower and pass seeds on for the next generation. Nature never ceases to amaze me!
