Tail End

Another Tuesday and another late night. After a fairly Normal Day at work it straight to a home match and a surprising draw, given the opposition beat us soundly five weeks ago.

Following the usual scoff and polite chat and clinking of tea cups my increasingly crumbling knees took me off to catch the remnants of what seemed to have been a busy blipmeet.

Given the nonsense that was spoken by the remaining stalwarts and the lateness of the evening I can't remember in detail what on earth we talked about - rhubarb mainly, if I recall, along with forum dramas, 4am starts and the incredible flower and plant blips that have appeared of late, in particular dandelions and ferns.

Top cake tonight: After last week's courgette cake disaster, I played safe. The award has to go to a trusty Victoria sponge. Jam was sadly missing but nice nevertheless.
