A new leaf

I saw these leaves in the botanic gardens today. I think they are some kind of hosta or lily. The early-evening light was falling in just the right place to show off their amazing ridges. The gardens are bursting with blossoms in a wild assortment of colours at the moment, but it was this strong pure green that attracted me most.
