I think this vendor is sheltering from the sun. They stand out there all day - 8ish to 7ish.

Sad to relate I had to clean the bathroom last night. Not at all pretty, so good to have a drain in the corner and the powerhose.

One of my people is on holiday so I am doing her full time job as well now. The Swiss guy that emailed me at 18:30 seemed put out when I grizzled about staying to 19:15 to do something for him. So thats 1 1/2 hrs extra meetings each day and 3/4 hour to write reports. And then when I got home another Swiss guy called and seemed disgruntled that I couldn't mobilize a test team at 20:00.

Managed to catch up on about half a dozen back blips.

HR rang me last week to get me to sign something, so they said the guy would come to my desk. next thing a call from the front desk, "you need to send an email to,.....". "No I don't" I replied, "I'm too busy". So HR sorted it out, the guy appeared. Sign here and here on a blank form. The boxes were different sizes and the signature had to be inside. Completed. Those don't look the same says the guy that just saw me sign. I look at him and say "Thats cos I had to modify it to get it in that box". So he has to get another copy for me to try again. He seemed satisfied this time although I'd say they were much as before.
