Pies for Syd

Ok, so it's not exactly LIVE AID, but this is me doing my bit to help my fellow man. In this case Syd.

So, Syd is a bloke who drinks in the same pub as me (mainly as he's the landlords dad), is retired and lives on his own.

He also likes my pies, especially the corned beef ones. And yes, I know it's daft, but hardly anyone says they like my cooking, so despite the fact that Syd is quite capable of looking after himself, and even if he wasn't he has family that would look after him, I make him corned beef pies and take one across for him every week.

He gets a decent feed and I get to feel better about myself. Everyones a winner.
