New Addition to the Family

This is a photo of Gracie's "baby" Ruthie Ann. Ruthie Ann is an uncooked egg that she must carry around for a week, take care of and return UNBROKEN to her science teacher on Friday. She must take the egg everywhere she goes and log in feeding, naps, diaper changes etc. We have Ruthie napping and sleeping in the refrigerator to preserve her a bit longer than she might otherwise. I have a feeling that by Friday she may be a bit stinky having to sit out all day throughout the week at school. It's probably a good thing that the weather is going to be a bit on the cool side this week.

Gracie wasn't able to go to swim practice today due to a large amount of homework but I guess I will be babysitting Ruthie the next few afternoons while she swims. I'm trying to decide what my babysitting fee should be! Jack wants to help out with Ruthie so badly, but Gracie's a little nervous that he'll drop her.
