Summertime,

and the living is easy.

These leaves are sort of speckled, and when the light shines through them they are very pretty. I went past them 4 times today to-ing and fro-ing from the swimming pool, since I decided the best thing to do with a dirty and hot toddler was immerse him in water. He quite agreed with me, especially when he realised it wasn't a lesson and he could play on the floats and with all the toys and shout duck (on of the toys was a duck. It's his new word. he's wearing it out)and generally do all the best things.

Then I went back after dinner with apparently the whole rest of the neighbourhood. The rest of the neighbourhood didn't swim very fast so it was a bit rubbish. 2000m took 45 nearly minutes.
