Felix

This wasn't a great photo, so I thought I'd play with it and made it look more like a painting - it works much better that way! Felix and Spike (who is a less cooperative model!) are very much a part of my day. They are waiting at the front door when I get home, follow me about for most of the evening, and I have to shut them into the study at night to stop Felix from waking me up at first light by miaowing outside my door.

Tonight I made roast pork stuffed with dates, dried apricots, pine nuts and parsley and wrapped in bacon. The cats are always extra friendly when a roast is cooking, they know I'm likely to save them a mouthful. Tonight's dinner appears to have been a success. The husband liked it too!
