Boys v Dads match!

The annual boys v dads match took place today. That is to say, my son's team playing against their Dads. Last year's score was 11-2 to the boys so, with that in mind the Dads played a few 'ringers', including a retired ex- Fulham professional. This years score was 2-2!! In spite of the terribly hot weather and no shade whatsoever a great time was had by all. Followed by a BBQ and presentaion of the annual awards. My son received the 'Manager's Player' award!! So proud am I?

Here, my son is heading the ball straight over the head of his Dad - even though Dad is at least 4 inches taller than him!
