Out of place

These totem-pole-type-objects are beside the busy road on one of the main routes into the city centre.

I've driven past them billions of times and often wondered about them so today I stopped to blip them but was disappointed to find that there was no explanantion as to why they were there or who made them.

I'm really liking the fact that blipping is making me so much more aware of my surroundings.
