Mystery Mist
As many of will you know, we enjoyed some unseasonably hot weather yesterday, so Sophie and I headed off to Ballymaconnell Beach, which is only about a quarter of a mile from where we live. Between paddling, avoiding balls and dogs and some very poor parking, along with about twenty minutes on the swings, we got some nice photographs.
Much later yesterday evening, I went to upload my Blip for the day and found, firstly, that my Internet connection was completely dead, and secondly, that I had no CF card in my camera for the whole time we were at the beach!
Two sets of panic! As seasoned Blippers will know, it's okay to back-Blip as long as the photo is taken on the correct day, so after a few minutes, I had calmed down by 50%.
I just had to find a new Blip and twilight was descending.
Thankfully, for my sleep comfort and my Blip, a very cool rolling mist arrived in Bangor blowing in from the sea to envelope most things. I thought to myself that this might make a decent photo, but it was getting dark, so a shot over our back wall into our neighbour's *much* nicer garden was in order.
The other 50% of panic lasted until this morning when a twenty minute frustrating call to my ISP, Blather Blather, resulted in online success.
Now I'm off out to Blip for today - hopefully with much less drama!
