Trap Shoot
This morning we started out with a 9 am baseball game with Liam's team. We also packed a bag for Liam for another sleepover with his best-friend Cody tonight (his mom will be taking them both to another Laser Tag BD party tomorrow).
Then it was off to go see my nephew, Billy, in a trap shoot competition. It was great to see him compete and was our first time ever attending one of these events. We were able to hang out with my brother and sister-in-law, her parents and my parents as well. She spoiled us with a delicious lunch and Billy showed us the basics of how trap works. My boys excitedly took home the shotgun shells that were expelled as 'souvenirs'. Billy was a little upset because it wasn't his best day, but we know he did much better than ANY of us could do at a young age of 11! It was so impressive to watch him out shooting.
After the trap shoot we headed over to my nephew, Lenny's Juniors baseball game (after a stop by Starbucks as I was beginning to fade :D ) They had a fantastic game and won 18-1! We absolutely loved the fields of the hosting team...and were drooling wishing we could have fields like theirs! I said goodbye to Liam as his pal picked them up at the game...gift in-hand...looking forward to tomorrow. Landon happily played with rocks and more rocks during Lenny's game and Loren found an old friend from years ago and they went exploring. By the time we got home, we were ALL exhausted but Gary still found the energy to grill some chicken and we sat down to a nice meal. The rest was slumber history.
