I finally gave my nephew his Christmas present ........... a lesson on the lathe.

He went away as happy as a pig in the smelly stuff clutching a honey drizzler he made.

He wasn't too keen on the idea that if the spider got within two feet, he should distract it and let me make my escape.
That hole it is trying to squeeze into in about 2" across.
I have never seen a spider so big outside a reptile house in this country.
It would have no problem fighting with one of the frogs in my pond.

Daughters cat was acing the goat today ..... lying across the ironing board - head over one side watching her tail hanging off the other.
