The Duck

We are the fortunate hosts of a family of ducks, or several families, that come every day during the summer, simply demanding to be fed. Around mid summer they show their new offspring where to go to get food and water, and we get in close contact with the youngsters. The fathers are usually more reserved and quite protective, sometimes standing guard on the roof, but the moms are more trusting. Today, this lady was tired of waiting outside, and walked in, through the living room and into the kitchen. Eystein is the one on the left.
