The Aftermath

We've had such a lovely day.

The weather was gorgeous and we went out for a village lunch with friends and their neighbours.

Every year one of the farmers hosts a Sunday lunch in their big barn. The turkeys are the farm's own birds and the whole village gets involved, cooking and serving. You take your own cutlery, glasses, wine and soft drinks.

It was a terrific lunch, made better by the company and a good time was had by all.

My friends had these really funky 'light-up' wine glasses which all the children (and I) loved.
