Wipe please, mum!

The sandpit was finally uncovered today after the harsh winter, and surprisingly didn't look too much the worse for wear. Wee D loved it, although he was quite precious about having sandy mitts.

We spent the whole day outside; kids running, dancing, digging, climbing, sliding, bouncing, fighting (!). We even dug the barbeque out from the depths of the garage and christened it for the season. A wonderful summery day had by all.

And now, sunscreen all washed off, kids about to go to bed, and parents looking forward to a few alcoholic refreshments and a bit of a Lost catch up as the finale is almost upon us (not that we'll be watching it in 'real time' as it's on at 5am!! And with 3 episodes to catch up already it'll be next month before we watch it no doubt!). Still no idea what's going on really!! Wonder if I'll still feel that way after the end, or if I'll suddenly be enlightened... :-)
