On Beeley Moor
Today we went for a circular walk talking in Beeley Moor and Chatsworth House.
The weather was stunning (maybe too hot) and the walk most enjoyable taking in moorland, forest and then the masses of Chatsworth before returning to the quiet of the forests above the great house.
If you look closely at the sign, it clearly points the direction to two of the most endearing characters of film and TV, namely Robin Hood and Gregory House.
Seems a very odd place to have a signpost for these two giants of the screen & I have yet to work out the significance. Don't worry, it will come to me. It does prove that both of them are probably from Derbyshire as the sign is very old & I am happy with that.
Enjoy the rest of Sunday. Early night for me as we are off to Whitby tomorrow, but before that is the last episode of Lost at 5am UK time.
