Goldeneye Babies

Quick blipping in the morning as I was going to work. I decided not to take the 40D and the 100-400mm lense with me, 'cause I was only going to take photo of the scenery and no birdwatching... WRONG!!
There were this female golden eye with 7 chicks VERY close to the shore and I had my 5D and only the 24-105mm lense. I said few cursing words.

So this shot had to be cropped a bit. I still like the colours in it.
