Night Is Falling?

The question mark is there in the title because of my problems with technology. I just realised how impossible it is to know how bright you people are seeing my pictures.

I was shocked when I opened this picture on a laptop. On my big screen the painted white line in the ground below the car closest to the camera cannot be seen. On the laptop it is seen clearly. Argh! Most probably all my pictures this year appear to you much brighter than I've intended. If you know know how to better control the brightness etc., I'd be glad to hear it...
