had a great day of gardening today - now drinking a celebratory g&t - it's kind of our wedding anniversary. Whitsun 2006 we had finally got round to having our wedding party even though we'd already been married 10 years. So, we tend to make Whitsun a special family occasion. Usually we go on holiday but this year we decided to stay at home and work outside the whole bank holiday. We're finishing off our pond, clearing out one of the barns, stacking wood, building a rockery...you name it :-) Luckily, the weather is playing fair with us and we're able to cook over the fire outside and enjoy a bit of much needed sun on the skin.
That's all for today, I'm suffering from 'gin-fingers' and it's making my typing a bit erratic.
